We are Wes and Nina.
We love….so many things.
We are one, yet we are individual.
Nina loves a tall cold glass of ice cold milk before bed. Wes prefers a Code Red Mountain Dew any time of day.
Wes loves to read good poetry and theology. Nina prefers fact finding on her Mac.
Nina loves to dance to Latin music. Wes prefers to watch Jerry Lewis dance on the original Nutty Professor….and then mimic these moves on any dance floor we meet.
We both love to watch movies. Bill Murray never fails to leave our sides hurting every time we watch The Man Who Knew Too Little. No joke. We literally laugh out loud EVERY time we watch it….which is often.
We both love to travel. We love Bergen, Norway for it’s cobblestone streets, vast fjords, fresh fish, and the fact that this is where Nina spent most of her summers as a child. We love Edinburgh, Scotland simply because it is absolutely grand. We love Israel because we have felt God’s heart for His people so strongly there. We love Ethiopia for giving us our beautiful twins. We simply love the world in all its contrasts and complexities.
We both love Lexington, Kentucky. We love it because after we have seen the splendor of a Scottish castle, or the majesty of the great Himalayan mountains, we get to come home to the Bluegrass. It’s rolling hills, beautiful farms filled with award-winning Thoroughbreds, and of course, the great White & Blue of the Kentucky Wildcats. It is home.
We love each other. We had an uber short engagement, without a clue of what was ahead of us in marriage (“Wise men say, only fools rush in.” Those wise dudes know what they’re talking about!) It was a rough road for the first couple of years! But God has a way of making marriages ROCK when you start prioritizing! So as we began to set our eyes on Him, a real love started to emerge. We love each other, because He loved us first!
More than anything, we both love God, and are beyond grateful that Christ saved our lives. It is because of Him that we live and breathe. And it is our desire that His heart and life would be found in every aspect of our business.
