This week we had the privilege of shooting family pictures for one of my dear friends, Kristi, and her beautiful family. They live overseas, so I only get to see them every few years, but when I do, it makes me a happy girl. I’m going to wait for the film to come back before I share the rest, but for today I wanted to share an image of my friend’s daughter, beautiful Annie. This shot was taken in complete daylight, but in the shade, with rays of sunlight filtering through the trees. I’m usually all about bright soft images, but I couldn’t stop looking at this one. I love the way light can tell a story. What do you think her story is?
