I cannot believe they are two. I cannot believe that two years ago, we didn’t even know who these two amazing children were. We didn’t know their names. On the other side of the globe, a brave and beautiful woman gave birth to these two little ones, and she cared for them and loved them with all her heart. And then, by the grace of God, we were given the gift of continuing to care for and love them, and we were given the gift of being their mother and father. This will never cease to amaze me. And here they are today, growing constantly, learning new things every day, and just blessing our lives tremendously. Thank you, God, for these two precious lives. Happy birthday Alexander Mikiyas and Eliana Tizita! Mamma & Daddy love you!

July 5, 2012 - 7:27 pm Zandra - What do you use on your son's hair? I have twin boys from Ethiopia and their hair is very similar to Alexander's. So beautiful, but I am not sure what to use on it. Thanks.

July 6, 2012 - 3:26 pm admin - Hi, Zandra! Alex's curls are very loose and soft. We don't have to put much in his hair. When it is short like this, we just put a little of Carol's Daughters Hair Mimosa in it to keep the frizz down. We also have Kinky Curly's Custard which shapes the curls a bit more, and holds them in place better. And YAY for twin boys! Twins are the BEST!!!
